DIT-MCO offers virtual instructor-led training (VILT) that allows the instructor and students to communicate in an online classroom. With the pandemic affecting everyone’s travel plans, we knew coming to Kansas City for training would be difficult. To keep everyone safe and trained in NETS software, we came up with a solution. Our technical training specialist has worked tirelessly to ensure our customers have the necessary training.
Is VILT Right for You?
We realize that business travel has changed even when the pandemic (hopefully) ends. When traveling was off the table, we had to devise alternative communication methods. Virtual meetings, events, conferences, and training took over the world due to the necessity of keeping our businesses moving forward. However, as inconvenient as it was to learn a new way of doing business and operating, it forced us to look at alternatives. Virtual training may be more convenient for your schedule and company.
Safety
As we mentioned, COVID-19 derailed traveling for business and pleasure. It became unsafe and impractical for us to expect our customers to travel to our building in Kansas City. This training option keeps you safe because it is done entirely online through videoconferencing.
Convenience
We want our training to be convenient for you. Instead of having to spend time traveling before our training course, why not try VILT? Depending on your schedule, you may need more time to come to Kansas City for four days of class (which excludes any additional travel days before and after). VILT makes it easy for you to log on each morning at 8 a.m. central time and log off at 4 p.m. This will allow you to work outside of the training hours as well. Although training is set for 8-4, it doesn’t always fill the allotted time. If training ended early, you could catch up on work for the remainder of the day. Convenience is a huge part of our daily lives, and DIT-MCO wants to make our customers’ lives easier.
Economical
Virtual instructor-led training (VILT) is cost-effective for your company. It is priced identical to our live, in-person training. However, because it saves travel expenses, it is a popular alternative. Aside from saving you time, it also saves you money.
Employee Availability
VILT keeps you at your desk. We hope it doesn’t happen, but the reality is that emergencies occur. Not only emergencies but also urgent tasks come up. If you are in Kansas City, it may be challenging to manage emergencies and urgent tasks. If you are within the walls of your company or working from home in your area, it will make taking care of those tasks much more accessible. VILT allows for flexibility in emergencies, and our trainer will be more than happy to work with you if something happens.

VILT training is accessible for our customers worldwide. In some cases, coming to Kansas City may be inconvenient. In those cases, we have a solution that allows you to get the training you need. You only need a computer and can become fully trained without leaving your office.

*We are allowing students in our facility in Kansas City for NETS training. If VILT is not for you or you would instead meet in person, we have a six-student maximum per class. This class-size limit ensures your safety and allows for social distancing.
